About me

I grew up and lived until my 40s in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil. There, I completed my medical studies, specialized in ENT surgery, and earned a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Health. I built a fulfilling career as a pediatric ENT surgeon, specializing in airway surgery, working both at the university hospital and in private practice.
Initially motivated by a need to manage stress, I discovered mindfulness meditation and yoga. Over time, the practice revealed much more than stress management. After receiving my own ADHD diagnosis, mindfulness became essential in helping me live well day to day.
In 2014, life brought me to Montréal, where I discovered the field of integrative medicine, which combines traditional therapies with complementary approaches such as mindfulness. This perspective deeply resonated with me. I began exploring scientific research on mindfulness, and the combination of my personal experience and the growing body of evidence inspired me to train as a mindfulness instructor.

In 2017, my family moved to Geneva, where we lived for six years. Determined to follow this path, I completed the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) teacher training with the Association pour le Développement de la Mindfulness, a program certified by Brown University, graduating in 2020. I also trained to work with adolescents and collaborated on the creation of a French-language mindfulness program for youth aged 10 to 20, delivered in schools, clinics, groups, and individual settings. During my time in Switzerland, I taught MBSR and mindfulness for university students groups, offered coaching for kids, teens and adults. I also took part in different mindfulness researches, such as Mindfulteen, e-SMILE, IMAGINE and EMOT-IVF.
In the summer of 2023, our family returned to Montréal, where we have chosen to settle long term. In 2024, I joined the Centre Présence – Médecine intégrative at the Université de Montréal to offer mindfulness-based interventions. In 2025, I decided to dedicate myself fully to my coaching practice, bringing together my work in mindfulness with advanced training in ADHD life coaching. I am currently completing certification with the International ADHD Coach Training Center (IACT) and preparing to apply for credentialing with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

My motivation for ADHD coaching is also deeply personal: living with ADHD myself has given me an inside understanding of its challenges, and also of the possibilities for growth and change. Today, I meet my clients with both professional expertise and lived experience, bringing together science, mindfulness, and compassion to support their journey toward balance, clarity, and well-being.
Degrees and Certifications
Important: my work as a mindfulness and ADHD Life Coach is not a medical activity.
While I remain a physician with a valid license to practice in Brazil, what I offer here does not constitute medical care and should not replace ongoing treatments or follow-ups.
